Vance-Brooks Funeral Home opened in May of 2002. The elegant new facility was designed to meet the growing needs of the community. With five spacious visitation rooms and a chapel with seating for approximately 300, the funeral home can accommodate large crowds. In addition to the chapel seating, there is also a family room that opens into the chapel for families that desire more privacy. Another added feature is the funeral home’s ability to video funerals for those love ones who cannot attend the funeral.

  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home offers a wide range of personalized, traditional services. Whether you want personal items placed in the visitation room or family pictures displayed, we can accommodate your needs. We can also provide your personal musical selections for the funeral with our piano, organ, CD player or cassette tape player.
  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home also offers all types of cremation services, including direct cremation, memorial services, visitations and full traditional services with a rental casket.
  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home salutes our Veterans by offering a complete funeral package to Veterans. We can also arrange for military honors.
  • Transportation can be provided for your deceased loved one, coming from or going to another county or state. Locations of greater distances will be provided through Delta Airlines in Atlanta, GA.

  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home offers a wide range of caskets and vaults. Some caskets are available with personalized cap panels.
  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home has a large selection of urns and matching keepsakes.
  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home offers Thomas Kincade memorial packages and other memorial products.
  • For those loved ones of veterans receiving a flag, we offer mahogany and oak flag cases.
  • Vance-Brooks Funeral Home also offers memorial portraits. Family photos can be scanned and a computer generated portrait can be developed that resembles an oil painting.

  • Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. This national cemetery is located at Ft. Mitchell, AL and is available for veterans, their spouses and minor children.
  • Parkhill Cemetery, one of the largest cemeteries in Columbus, GA.
